When, where, and how my faith
journey began ...
I was always involved in my local church and had committed my heart
to Christ while in early high school. However, it wasn’t until
I was 21 that my life would be changed
forever. While attending World
Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, Canada, I truly felt God’s
calling on my heart to follow Him and serve others as his son. Since
that day, I have discovered many new ways to feed my heart with The
Word.
Bible character I enjoy most
...
I truly enjoy David for his dedicated service to the Lord. From God’s
anointing at his youth to his death, his life is a great example of
journey and faith, which daily inspires me! Though not always making
the best choices, we see his life lived journey with God. I feel most
like David because my life too, has been tarnished with many faults
and times of uncertainty, but through it all God has used them to mold
me and draw me even closer into His arms.
Favorite book in the Bible ...
1 Samuel - because it is full of examples of God’s power and might.
Favorite Verse(s) ...
1 JOHN 3:18

Spiritual Influences ...
Jeff and Tece Wiesner – my mommy and daddy. Thanks for
being such loving parents, always quick to lend a hand or even a word
or encouragement. For providing such a nurturing, loving and supportive
home. "...thanks for all the time that you gave to me, I hope I
did you proud every time that you saw me..."
Ann Wiesner – my one and
only, loving sister. Thanks for always being an example for me on my
walk with Christ. Your peacefullness and warm spirit have lead me.
David Wiesner - my one and only,
brother. Thanks for always leading me and encouraging me to attend the
church retreats and youth functions. It was all more than worth it.
Preston – for being that
constant source of shoulder leaning. The many nights of couch conversation
on life and it's struggles. And rejoicing together when it's needed
the most. I love you like Fruity Pebbles!
Lorraine Saindon – my
warm-hearted grandmother, (…your love will not be forgotten!)
Jody and Jack VandenBrandon
– my loving Godparents. Thanks for all the inspiration thoughtout
my life. Though 12 hours away, your love is always felt. (Go Green Bay!)
Shawn Spagnuolo - High School
Youth Minister and dear Friend. Thanks for all your dedicated work to
cultivating the faith of the young. Your continued presence in my life,
daily inspires me. (Thrift shop til' we drop)
Steve Spagnuolo - My mt. bike
partner over the roots and rocks, around the corners and up the long
hills, for many miles and more to come… Thanks for always providing
me with an example of a godly man. Your reverence for the Eucharist
paints a great picture of a humble servant.
Eric Hawkins – a long
time friend from the little league baseball diamonds to the life of
college. You are a true inspiration on this walk with Christ! Your friendship
has carried me along the way. I thank you and your family for the generosity
extended to me over the years.
Pullins family – It's
always great to know wonderful people. This family is grounded in there
faith and through that offer constant love and generosity . Christ's
presnece can easily be felt when with them. Many times they have extended
open arms to me and for that I say thanks. Thanks for being my 2nd family.

Dr. Scott Rollins – Pastor
of First Christian Church, Knoxville. His love for ministry truly shows
through his meaningful sermons and work throughout the community. I
alway look forward to hearing his wonderful message. May God continue
to refine your heart and provide you with peace. Congrats on your Marriage
and new Son. God Bless~
Tim Teague - Metro Director
for Young Life in Knoxville. Tim is always the first to ask me how my
walk with Christ is going. His true concern and compassion for those
around him is simply a product of his love for Christ. If anyone could
be described as a heartfelt, humble servant of Christ, he be one.
Church Involvement...
I have been part of the John
XXIII student choir for the past several years. I feel that
through music ministry, I best serve my church community, as well as,
feed my spiritual desires through worship and song. Over the years,
I have also attended the Sunday night Bible study group. I have found
that joining others in reading Gods word enables growth in my faith.
Building a sense of community is an important key to success on this
journey. After spending my high school years as a member of the Our
Lady of Fatima youth group, I have found myself returning
throughout the years lending a helping hand where ever needed. Junior/Senior
Bible study 2005 ruled! (Keep the faith kids! I love you all! Always
pray!)
How I got into Christian Music
...
I began writing just as a hobby about everyday issues. With no intention
of sharing my faith through music, God repeatedly appeared in my lyrics
and melodies. At the time I didn’t feel I was supposed to focus
on the spiritual aspects of life, it seemed too hard for me. Then I
experience WYD2002 as mentioned above. I came back that fall and continued
to write. Only this time my emphasis was my faith and love for Jesus
Christ. I completed all 9 songs on my current album within 2 months.
As most writers know, this is somewhat impossible. Let’s just
say, I had a lot to say, and God truly helped me say it.
I'm a Christian artist because
...
I feel God has led me here. Youth of today rely on music quite a bit.
If I can reach one person with the Truth of Christ, then I will have
achieved my goal. "I don’t entertain; I share my faith."
Things that could use some improving
...
1. The large amount of sleep that I require
2. Memorizing all my lyrics, it’s pretty embarrassing not being
able to remember them all.
Favorite songs I’ve written
...
‘Thank You’ – the song I wrote for my mommy and daddy.
This song speaks of all the time and sacrafice my mother and father
made for me to have the life I do. Who could ask God for more of a blessing
than two awesome parents. I love you both! "I hope I did you proud"
'Water' - just because it rawks and I
enjoy singing like an old man. I wanted to write a song perhaps from
God's perspective. Sometimes I wonder what He would say so I listened
and wrote from my heart!
'fly away' - this is a fun song to sing
and play because I've ventured out into a new tuning on my guitar. This
too is a song from God's perspective and I think it might actually be
my #1 favorite!
